My name is Molly Akin. I have been in state government for over 23 years. I'm a certified computer forensic examiner and have my masters in Digital Forensics from the University of Central Florida. I'm also responsible for emergency management functions. I have used maps extensively to make decisions in my current job. I loved it so much that I decided to get my Masters Degree in GIS Admin from the University of West Florida! I've lived in the Pensacola area for about five years and hope to retire here as well! I plan on using GIS in my current job and hope to launch a second career in GIS upon retirement!
