This week, I embarked on my journey into the world of GIS mapping and spatial analysis! Over my twenty year career in government, I have relied upon GIS maps and spatial data to make important work and personal decisions. Although I am "tech savvy", this was my first experience working with ArcGIS software and creating maps myself.
For the most part, ArcGIS was user friendly and easy to navigate. With time and practice, I know that it will become even easier to work with ArcGIS! I enjoyed this first assignment and look forward to delving into more complex, detailed projects!
