GIS 4035- Remote Sensing and Photo Interpretation- Week 4 - Multispectral Analysis

This week, we learned different techniques to identify specific features using multispectral analysis.  We worked with in image using ERDAS Imagine using four different processes to identify features to include:

1) Histogram Analysis

2) Image Grayscale Analysis

3) Multi-spectral band experiments/analysis

4) Image Brightness analysis (Using ERDAS Imagine- Inquire Cursor)

Using these four techniques (and a little luck!), I located the three "mystery" features requested during this week's lab.  As a side note, this is the first time that I realized that I do not have to make a new map layout in ArcGIS for each new map deliverable.  After setting up the first map layout, the other two maps were simple to create!
